I'll never understand why people put other fish in a gulper's tank unless they want the gulper to eat it.

Just getting my first ever stingray! It’s a black diamond 8-9” I’ll be keeping it in my monster tank with 2 medium size Asian arowanas and 4 small dollars n an American flag tail. It’s a 5ft tank running on top filter and a canister filter. Please let me know if things I Shd care for and common mistakes while keeping stingrays. Its a bare bottom tank

How do you access the sump? If something goes wrong and it cracks, or you have to clean it, modify plumbing, equipment, etc. I saw a little area in the front, but not big enough to remove a 6' sump or easily modify it.

Awesome to see how healthy he got at the one month mark...would never know he ever got injured! Obvious how much you care for your animals.

Poor gulper (his stomach was ripped open, he's definitely gonna die) and poor tiger shovelnose (got eaten whole), but can we just appreciate how chill that ripsaw was in that part?

Gulper catfish is one of the weirdest fish i have ever seen. They have no boundaries, even a red tail or a Paroon shark is not that greedy.

It doesn’t look out the side of the stomach, it looks like it’s beside the anus.

I personally think the gulper was fed in a completely irresponsible manner. Both fish will die horrifically for nothing. Feed live by all means, but feed responsibly.

These fish are too wild to be domesticated and belong in the wild.

Unfortunately u lose 2 fish instead of being a smart keeper an pulling the fish out rite away an then you would have only lost the gulper but since you let in go there both dead now

I dont know who is more dumb, if you or you gulper fish... I know gulpers are pretty stupid animals but if you fish-keeper know that, you must keep them alone I really doubt that gulper survived that, unless that hole was its anus and not a stomach explosion like you said
